πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» I’m doing this for 7 days β€” want to join?

Hey Reader

Last week, I was in Bucharest β€” mostly in vacation mode.
But I did some light work as well:

βœ… Spent a couple of focused hours working on my app
βœ… Posted content about it every day

And guess what? My downloads and trials started growing again.
No grind, no hustle β€” just consistency.

Then I went home.
Client work, real life, distractions.
Back to zero progress.

That’s why I’m launching something I’m calling:

πŸ‘‰ The 7 Hard Indie Dev Challenge
Like 75 Hard but for App makers. Just 7 days to get back on track and build momentum.

Here’s what you do each day:

  • πŸš€ Work on your app for 2 hours
  • πŸ“’ Post 1 piece of content (tweet, reel, blog, whatever)
  • 🎯 No zero days

To help you stay consistent, I created a free Notion template with:
βœ”οΈ Daily prompts
βœ”οΈ Viral content hooks
βœ”οΈ A results tracker

P.S. If you want personalized feedback on your app or content, check out the Indie App Accelerator β€” it's where I can give people feedback, do calls, and help more deeply.

I'll add social once I have users" is a trap The Part-time Solopreneur Hey! If you’ve ever told yourself, β€œI’ll add [feature] once I have more users”, read this. I just spent months in that trap. The feature I gated: social in MotoLog (my Strava-for-motorcycles app). Friends, leaderboard, profile cards. I kept saying I’d build it once I had more users. Today I shipped it. And realized I had it completely backwards. The trap: β€œSocial only matters once you have users.” The reality: Strava...

My app gets 59 downloads/month. I'm fixing that Hi, Quick update β€” I just launched a 28-day app marketing challenge inside the Indie App Accelerator community. The problem is simple: I have 9 apps on the App Store. Most of them get barely any downloads. My best app (Apnea) does well organically, but my newest one β€” Focus Lock β€” gets 59 downloads a month. That's not a product problem. It's a marketing problem. So for the next 28 days, I'm posting content every single day to see if consistent...

What I learned making $60K from side projects The Part-time Solopreneur Happy New Year πŸŽ‰ Just published my 2025 review. Want to share the honest numbers with you. What went well: Moved family from Latvia to Thailand. YouTube grew to 45K subscribers. Built a community that's making around $18K a year. Apps made about $40K. Total side project income is approximately $ 60,000 while still freelancing full-time. Not bad, right? Here's the thing. Revenue from apps dropped. Community income is new....
