The tool I built for myself. Want in early?

I became the bottleneck

The Part-time Solopreneur

Quick one today.

I need beta testers, and you're the right people to ask :)

Here's the problem I kept hitting.

I build mobile apps. More than one.

And feedback comes from everywhere.

App Store reviews. Google Play reviews. In-app feedback boards. My own to-do notes. All of it in different places.

So I became the hub. Reading one inbox, copying a task to another, tracking what I already replied to, forgetting half of it anyway.

The feedback tools helped me collect more. None helped me act on it.

So I built the thing I actually wanted.

It's called FeedbackThread. One inbox for all of it. iOS, Android, App Store, Google Play, feeding into one place. A roadmap and releases on the other side. And an AI agent that can work the queue over MCP, so some of it clears without me opening the app at all.

I'm already using it in one of my apps and will migrate all of them next week. I built it for me first.

Now I'm opening the beta.

Fitting, right? A feedback tool asking you for feedback.

One ask: tell me if this problem is even yours. I'm the only one with five inboxes. If you are too, I want to hear it.

That's it for today. Keep shipping πŸš€

I'll add social once I have users" is a trap The Part-time Solopreneur Hey! If you’ve ever told yourself, β€œI’ll add [feature] once I have more users”, read this. I just spent months in that trap. The feature I gated: social in MotoLog (my Strava-for-motorcycles app). Friends, leaderboard, profile cards. I kept saying I’d build it once I had more users. Today I shipped it. And realized I had it completely backwards. The trap: β€œSocial only matters once you have users.” The reality: Strava...

My app gets 59 downloads/month. I'm fixing that Hi, Quick update β€” I just launched a 28-day app marketing challenge inside the Indie App Accelerator community. The problem is simple: I have 9 apps on the App Store. Most of them get barely any downloads. My best app (Apnea) does well organically, but my newest one β€” Focus Lock β€” gets 59 downloads a month. That's not a product problem. It's a marketing problem. So for the next 28 days, I'm posting content every single day to see if consistent...

What I learned making $60K from side projects The Part-time Solopreneur Happy New Year πŸŽ‰ Just published my 2025 review. Want to share the honest numbers with you. What went well: Moved family from Latvia to Thailand. YouTube grew to 45K subscribers. Built a community that's making around $18K a year. Apps made about $40K. Total side project income is approximately $ 60,000 while still freelancing full-time. Not bad, right? Here's the thing. Revenue from apps dropped. Community income is new....
