How I 4x My App Revenue in 30 Days (Real Numbers Inside)

How I 4x My App Revenue in 30 Days

The Part-time Solopreneur

Hi!

What if I told you that spending just 30 minutes a day on marketing could quadruple your app revenue?

You’d probably think I’m trying to sell you something, right?

Well, I just proved it’s possible.

And I’m about to show you exactly how.

In August, I committed to doing ONE marketing action every single day for my habit tracking app “Daily Goal Tracker Small Habit.”

The rules were simple:

  • Pick one app to focus on
  • Do one marketing action daily (no matter how small)
  • Track everything
  • Don’t break the chain

I wasn’t expecting massive results. I just wanted to build a consistent marketing habit.

The Results (Screenshots Don’t Lie) After 30 days:

  • Downloads: 126 → 239 (+84%)
  • Revenue: $12 → $56 (+367%)
  • Conversion Rate: 2.87% → 4.24% (+49%)
  • Page Views: 635 → 979 (+48%)

What I Actually Did

Every day, I post content somewhere:

  • Instagram reels and photo carousels
  • TikTok videos
  • YouTube shorts and long-form videos
  • X posts
  • Live streams on YouTube/Twitch when I was feeling lazy

The key insight? Photo carousels actually outperformed most of my video content. One carousel got nearly 100K views while some reels barely hit 2K.

The Tools That Made It Possible

  1. Post-bridge.com - Cross-posted content to 5+ platforms instantly
  2. Arcads.ai - Created AI videos when I was too tired to film
  3. Instagram Edits app - Instagram is pushing content edited with its native app

Key Insights:

1. Consistency Beats Perfection Daily "good enough" content massively outperformed weekly "perfect" posts.

2. Cross-Posting Is Your Friend. I was scared people would think I'm spamming. Reality? Different people follow you on different platforms. Not everyone sees every post. Just do it.

3. Marketing isn't Being Salesy. Every day, I was essentially saying, "Hey, I built something that could help you." People responded. They downloaded. They paid. It's that simple.

Your Turn

Want to try this yourself? Here's my exact framework:

  1. Pick ONE app to focus on (don't spread yourself thin)
  2. Commit to ONE marketing action daily
  3. Use scheduling tools to batch content
  4. Track your metrics religiously
  5. Find an accountability partner or community

The Bottom Line

Your app won't market itself. But marketing doesn't have to be overwhelming.

One action. One day at a time. That's how you build something sustainable.

I've created a detailed video breakdown of this entire experiment, including exact content examples and metrics. I will publish it on my YouTube channel later this week.

Question for you: What's the ONE marketing action you could commit to doing daily for the next 30 days?

Hit reply and let me know. I read every email.

That's it for today. Keep shipping 🚀

What I learned making $60K from side projects The Part-time Solopreneur Happy New Year 🎉 Just published my 2025 review. Want to share the honest numbers with you. What went well: Moved family from Latvia to Thailand. YouTube grew to 45K subscribers. Built a community that's making around $18K a year. Apps made about $40K. Total side project income is approximately $ 60,000 while still freelancing full-time. Not bad, right? Here's the thing. Revenue from apps dropped. Community income is new....
